Rashid Diab Exhibition
About the exhibition
“My art is portraying life in Sudan – capturing everything – the political and the social context is transformed into images. When you have no freedom of expression, you can't say anything. You have to speak through painting.”

He has received a B.A. (Honors) in Painting from the Khartoum College of Fine Art, Khartoum, Sudan and further degrees in Painting and Etching from Complutense University of Madrid, Spain. Since then he has been honoured with many awards from around the world, most recently the King Khuan Aarlos Award for Excellent Service, Knight Class.
