Simultaneous Exhibition - Richard Kimathi's 'Rocky Roads'
Ehoodi Kichapi Exhibition
About the exhibitionWe are absolutely delighted with the direction Kichapi is taking with his latest body of work. Having arranged to take a long break from painting whilst he experimented with sculpting in resin, Kichapi has returned with new form.
The works in 'Kichapi's back' show a boldness and a self assurance previously less evident. Long plagued by our stated comparisons to the late Jean-Michel Basquiat, Kichapi has broken away from his nemesis with these paintings. Whilst the quirky humour remains, the superb drawing and use of spray paint bring movement to many of the works. The images are guaranteed to bring sunshine to your day. |
